Parking Tips:
1. When parked in spaces designed for their exclusive use, motorcycles must park in designated areas with rear wheel to the curb.
2. Metered parking is in effect during the hours posted.
3. No motorized vehicle without pedals shall park on islands or sidewalks. ($50!! BTDT)
4. Park one motorcycle per stall.
5. Most parking is metered for 4 hours, at 25 cents per hour.
6. Motorcycles may park in metered zones for automobiles providing the parking meter is paid. When parked in spaces designed for automobiles, motorcycles should park parallel to the curb.

Some might find this useful:
There is free motorcycle parking (no meter heads) on C, SW between 12th & 14 behind USDA.
In the USDA parking lot on Independence close to 12th
On the SW side of the Humphrey building (200 Independence?) the Humphrey building (Independence Ave, SW) has free MC parking on the sidewalk/patio and is sort of covered (there's a roof way up high). It's on the SW side of the building (KR)
