Cornerworking

One of the best ways to learn about racing, and have one of the greatest places to watch, is by cornerworking. So, what is cornerworking, you ask?

Cornerworking is a crucial part of racing. Without corner workers, racing couldn't take place. They work in a team on a corner of the racetrack, and are always on the lookout for anything that may create a situation that is unsafe for the racers. Cornerworkers signal conditions to the racers using flags and hand signals. They also coordinate their actions with other workers using signals and with Race Control using two-way radios. They keep the track clear of debris, liquids, and disabled race vehicles, and assist participants who have crashed. Cornerworkers are there to keep the riders safe and assist any way they can.
